Based on domestic steel tie rod research, Juli sling has prepared the P. R. China Standard CB/T3957-2004. This standard shows specification, technological requirement, testing methods and regulations. It can apply with all buildings and steel configuration projects, which has been regarded as guidance file for steel tie rod manufacturing. In addition, it is the unique professional standard for steel tie rod which supplies a gap in this field.

1. Steel tie rods are classified six series: They are steel tie rod for buildings, for bridges, for wharf and for dockyard as well as including stainless and anchor pole steel tie rods.
2. Steel tie rods are classified eight grades according to strength level: They are 235 grade, 345 grade, 460 grade, 550 grade, 650 grade, 725 grade, 835 grade and 1080 grade respectively.
3. According to their specifications, steel tie rods are classified: Φ20 to φ210 for alloy steel tie rod, φ12 to φ100 for stainless steel tie rod and among them φ20 to φ50 for thread steel tie rod.
